1. To play the game you need a die and 10 matches for each player.

2. Each player rolls a dice and the one with the highest number becomes the game master.

3. The game master throws the die and the number he rolls becomes taboo.

1. After the taboo number is rolled, the players begin rolling the die.

2. If a player rolls a normal number, he is fine, but if he rolls the taboo number, he has to give one of his matches to the game master.

3. When all the players have roll the die, the round ends. After 5 rounds the game master has to be changed.

4. The new game master rolls a new taboo number and the game continues.

1. The one who has the most matches left after 10 rounds wins the game.

2. If many players have the same amount of matches remaining after 10 rounds, the score is draw between those players.

The forbidden number is a dice game invented in the 19th or 20th century. It was often played in parties and it is most fun with a group of people playing.
